NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police are investigating after a man’s body was found inside a car at a Central Virginia rest stop. 

Virginia State Police responded to a call reporting a suspicious vehicle shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday near the westbound rest area at the 214 mile marker in New Kent County.

State police found a deceased male, who appeared to be in his early twenties, in the car’s drivers seat.

The man’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
