LUFKIN, Texas (KETK) – According to reports, Lufkin police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 600 block of Lufkin Ave Tuesday morning.

Shortly after 9 a.m., a passerby reported seeing a woman, Sandra M. Smith, pushing and chasing a man. The man told officers that Smith had pushed him because he had not shown her enough affection in front of his mother.

Smith admitted that she pushed the man and stated she was on bond for the offense of retaliation against the victim.

Although no physical injuries were observed or reported, Smith acted violent and aggressive while officers were on scene.

Smith was arrested for domestic violence to prevent another assault.
