RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A jury has found a woman guilty of first-degree murder and robbery in connection to a Christmas Eve double murder.

Robin Mines, the mother who police said helped her son, Jamal Clemons, commit double murder, now faces a mandatory minimum of 25 years in prison.

Mines was convicted on one charge for robbery and one charge of first-degree murder for 60-year-old Edward Lee Bowmer's Christmas Eve 2011 slaying.

The prosecution had entered a null process for the additional murder charge in the killing of 56-year-old Robin Clapp. That means at this time the Commonwealth's Attorney will not proceed with the additional murder charge.

The jury is currently deliberating on sentencing for Mines. [Watch CBS 6 News at Noon for the latest on this developing story.]

What started off with 23 potential jurors was narrowed down to the final 12, plus an alternate.

The jury consists of four African-American men, four African America women, three Caucasian men and one Caucasian woman.
