Children’s Museum of Richmond opens in Chesterfield

Get ready Chesterfield, it's your turn, The Children's Museum of Richmond opens its second satellite in Chesterfield County Saturday, June 16 at 9:30am. Nestled in the Winterpock Crossing Shopping Center at 6629 Lake Harbor Drive in the county, this location will have the unique hands-on-experience as the other two museums Downtown and in Short Pump. 

There is a Main Street complete with a grocery store, diner, performance stage and bank, the CMoR Art Studio, Transportation Station with a real fire truck and GRTC bus, Under-The-Sea-Adventure theme climbing station and train and many more attractions for young minds.

The grand opening will include lots of fun activities for the entire family, regular admission will apply on Saturday and if you're a member you can visit for one low membership price at all three museums.  For more details about the Chesterfield location visit or call 474-7000.
