Chesterfield police seek bank robbery suspect

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va.– A man robbed the Village Bank branch at 4221 W. Hundred Road at about 11:30 a.m. today, said police.

Police said the man approached a teller and passed a note demanding money. He then fled the scene on foot, with an undisclosed amount of cash, said police.

Police described the suspect as a black male about 25 to 35 years of age and about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a stocky build. The suspect was wearing a striped shirt, dark pants, sunglasses and a white and teal Los Angeles baseball cap.

No one was injured during the robbery.
