Fund established for slain mom’s children

MECHANICSVILLE, Va. (WTVR) – The family of a Mechanicsville mother shot and killed in her home has set-up a fund to help the woman’s two children.

Those who wish to donate to the “Sabrina’s Boys” fund can do so at any Village Bank location.

Checks can be mailed to any Village Bank branch. Be sure to make the check out to Village Bank c/o Sabrina’s Boys.

Sabrina Markham, 30, was shot and killed the afternoon of June 2, 2012.

Hanover investigators said Markham’s estranged husband, Ryan Markham, used a SKS assault-style rifle to kill Sabrina. He also shot her Sabrina’s boyfriend. He was able to fire back and shoot Ryan Markham. [Click here for more]

Both men remain in the hospital.

Sabrina’s family is receiving family and friends at Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., tonight from 5 to 8 p.m.
