(CBS) - Three years after the death of Michael Jackson, his only daughter, Paris, has sat down with Oprah Winfrey for an interview.

During the chat, which is scheduled to air on the Oprah Winfrey Network, the 14-year-old Paris recalls what it was like to wear masks when she was out with her father.

"I was really confused, like, I didn't get why I was wearing a mask. But I understand it now, why my dad would want our face to be covered. Like when we went out without him we wouldn't be recognized, we could have a normal childhood," she told Winfrey.

Winfrey then asked if MJ ever thought it was possible for his children to live normal lives.

"He had his doubts, because I remember he told us when he was younger he didn't really have a childhood. He would always be stuck in the studio singing while other kids were out playing and he wanted us to have that," she explained.

Additionally, Paris said some of she and her father's favorite places to visit included Chuckie Cheese and Toys R Us.

Paris also introduced Winfrey to her best friend and talks about her upcoming movie role.

Paris is the middle child of Jackson's three children. Prince is 15 and Blanket is 10.

The interview will air on "Oprah's Next Chapter," at 9 p.m. on June 10 and will also include an interview with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.
