(WTVR) - A parliament committee on body image is recommending putting "appearance-based discrimination" right up there with race and sexual discrimination.

The committee's report finds "one in five" people in the U.K. are victimized because of their weight or appearance.

According to The Telegraph, the report also said that girls as young as five years old worry about their size and appearance.  They say appearance is the main reason why children are bullied in school.

There are already laws in place here in the U.S. and in the U.K. that make it illegal to discriminate based on gender, age, disability and sexual orientation.
