RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Emotions ran high Wednesday night at a vigil for two sisters who were stabbed after a confrontation inside a Southside bar.

Dozens showed up to remember Rakita McClenny and pray for her sister, Aja.

Rakita was stabbed to death, and Aja was wounded, after police said the pair were attacked by Monita Cunningham two Sundays ago.

Investigators said it happened after Cunningham followed the sisters out of Ed's Cafe in the 3000 block of Hull Street.

The mother of the victims has told CBS 6 the suspect had been harassing her daughters because of the way they looked.
