Mayor and others have not filed, election deadline near
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)–The deadline to run for an elected office in Richmond city government is now less than two weeks away.
Candidates have until June 12 to submit their paperwork, which includes a petition of signatures from voters who intend to support them.
On Wednesday, CBS 6 news went to the city registrar’s office to find out what candidates have filed so far and what challenges this could mean for incumbent candidates.
