HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Henrico County Police have made an arrest in a shooting that happened almost three weeks ago, and are still searching for another suspect.

The murder occurred early morning May 11, around 1 a.m., in the 8500 block of Glazebrook Avenue. When investigators arrived on scene they found JaJuan Munford, 21, dead from a gunshot wound.

Today detectives, acting on information from the Richmond Police Department, and the community, arrested Ernest Shavez Pressley of the 1200 block of N. 30th Street.

Pressley was charged with possession of firearm by a felon, related to the murder of Munford, said police.

Police are still searching for a man, unidentified but pictured in the photo above.

The shooting happened near behind the Phully Loaded Studios–a recording studio in the county’s west end.

The business owner, James Brayboy, said he was inside the venue when an argument broke out behind the studio.

“People with cigarettes…he grazed him with a cigarette and he took it personal,” said Brayboy.

For a moment Brayboy said the fighting stopped.  But within moments, the argument resumed.

“It went from zero to 60,” explained Brayboy.  “I put them out and the doors were locked, they were outside.”

Brayboy said after several people were escorted out, three or four gun shots rang out.

“People are doing what they are doing every day,” said Brayboy.  “For you to open something positive up, something positive, and they turn it into something negative outside then that’s a whole different story.  I feel for the kid and everything, but what can you do?”
