Planning to tackle some laundry over the weekend? Watch your kids while you wash.

There are some new concerns about those ultra-concentrated pod laundry detergents. They may seem convenient, but the American Association of Poison Control Centers says they’re extremely harmful to little children.

Doctors are reporting a growing number of instances where toddlers have swallowed the small packets and become very ill, very quickly.

Experts say children think the colorful packets are candy. In different cases one child began to vomit, one became unresponsive and many of the children end up on ventilators.

Procter & Gamble announced Friday it will soon change the design of their pod packaging to include double-latch lids.
