COLUMBIA, S.C. (CNN) – This isn’t exactly what you want to see in your backyard. Andrew Philson took these photos of the large black snake he found behind his home in Columbia, South Carolina.
The creature is about 20 feet long! Check it out as it slithers up a tree.
Officials at the Department of Natural Resources and Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens told Philson they think it’s a black rat snake.
