Tampa, Fla. (WFTS) - A Florida woman who is 8-months pregnant with her sixteenth child is claiming police brutality after she said officers used a stun gun on her.   Officers told a different story.

WFTS reporter Bill Logan said Tampa police tazed Angel Adams, 39, after officers were called to a Tampa-area home to investigate a rock-throwing incident..

Tampa Police spokeswoman Laura McElroy said when a pair of police officers attempted to question one of Angel's sons, Angel, her 21-year-old daughter and two 13-year-old attacked the officers.

"The bottom line with the situation is this mother chose to put her unborn child at risk," said McElroy.

Tampa Police said Electronic Control Devices are highly regulated within the department.  The officer who used the device was not reprimanded because, police said, the officer did not know Adams was pregnant.
