RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - According to AAA, gas is averaging $3.66 for a gallon of regular unleaded in Metro Richmond. That's down nearly 30 cents from a month ago, and 20 cents lower than this time last year.

AAA Mid-Atlantic's Windy VanCuren explains why this is happening. She says the biggest indicator is oil prices, which have fallen lately. But prices usually increase around Memorial Day, so there is a chance that prices could rise significantly this summer.
