Free help coming for Richmond homeowners

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)--Are you close to foreclosure? Do you need help staying in your home? An event in Richmond this week could help you out.

With the support of Mayor Dwight Jones, The National Assistance Corporation of America is setting up shop at the Greater Richmond Convention Center through Monday.

Representatives will meet with any homeowner who may be close to losing their home, as well as first time home buyers.

The event runs 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 3 through Monday, May 7.
