Police: Men stole jewels from Short Pump store

HENRICO, Va. (WTVR)- Henrico Police are looking over surveillance footage after a theft at West End jeweler Saturday evening.

Lt. Doug Perry with HPD tells CBS 6 that two black males entered the Peter Alexander Fine Jewelers at Short Pump Town Center Saturday shortly after 5:00 p.m., distracted the clerk, and managed to walk out with several thousands of dollars worth of jewelry.

Perry says that investigators are sorting through surveillance footage now, and hope to release photos and description of the suspects soon.
