CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Chesterfield Police released a sketch of the man they said tried to abduct a teenage girl from outside a tanning salon earlier this month.

Police described him as a white male in his 20s with either acne or freckles on his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. Police said he was clean shaven, 5’10” tall with a large muscular build and dark hazel or brown eyes.

Police said the man may have driven an older, gray truck with custom pipes and a “Cowboy Up” sticker.

On Wednesday, April 11, around 9:00 p.m., police were called to Sea Breeze Tanning Salon on Amherst Ridge Lane to investigate an attempted abduction. A 17-year-old girl told police a man approached her and grabbed her arm as she walked to her car. She said she was able to break free and drive away. [Click here for more]
