TOLEDO, Ohio (WTOL) — A Toledo, Ohio couple accused of leaving a baby’s body inside a freezer faced a judge Monday morning.

Kenisha Pruitt, 20, and Antonio Cervantes, 18, are each charged with child endangerment and are being held on $1 million bond each.

Police said a landlord cleaning their home found what appeared to be a full-term infant’s body in a garbage bag, frozen solid.

According to court documents, Pruitt and Cervantes had lived at the home since November and were in the process of moving out.

Those documents also report family members thought Pruitt was pregnant when the couple moved in.

The two could face more charges once autopsy results are returned.
