GETTYSBURG, Pa. (WTVR) – Rick Santorum announced he is suspending his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination.

Santorum adjusted his campaign schedule Tuesday following his young daughter’s release from hospital the night before, canceling morning events in his home state of Pennsylvania while adding a later appearance in Gettysburg.

Santorum made the announcement at the Gettysburg appearance.
