RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Former Tea Party President Jamie Radtke’s name will be at the top of the ballot for the U.S. Senate primary on June 12.

Radtke’s name was drawn Wednesday by the State Board of Elections.

Here’s the order of the candidates will appear on the ballot:

  1. Jamie Radtke
  2. George Allen
  3. Bob Marshall
  4. E.W. Jackson

Former Virginia governor and U.S. senator George Allen, Radtke, Virginia Delegate Bob Marshall and Bishop E.W. Jackson all filed petitions with the Republican Party of Virginia  last week after a nearly three-week window to submit petitions closed.

The threshold to get on Virginia’s ballot is 10,000 valid signatures.

Allen, Radtke and Marshall all submitted more than 17,000 signatures and were certified by early afternoon.

Jackson, however, barely cleared 11,000 — meaning the party staff members had to go through and verify each of his petitions individually.
