FREE ADMISSION: Plenty of free entertainment along the route of the Ukrops Monument Avenue 10k this Saturday morning, March 31. The race begins at 8:30am and travels from Broad and Harrison over to Monument west to Chantilly, then back to Monroe Park. Enjoy party stops and live music all along the 6 mile route.
FREE ADMISSION: The Cultural Center of India at 6641 Ironbridge Pkwy, hosts the 10th annual Festival of Punjabi on Saturday (3/31) from 11a.m. to 9p.m. Enjoy cultural food, music, arts and crafts and entertainment.
FREE FOOD: If you’re a NASCAR and free food fan, if Ryan Newman places in the top 10 during the Sprint Cup Race, Sunday (4/1) at Martinsville, you will receive a free Bloomin’ Onion with any purchase at Outback Steakhouse, on Monday, April 2.
FREE MUSIC: Enjoy a variety of free, family friendly concerts all around the UR campus this Sunday, April 1 starting at 3 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the The Global Sounds Concerts move inside to Camp Concert Hall.
FREE MOVIES: Ashland Firehouse Theatre is showing free movies on Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm through early April. The theater is at 201 Duncan Street.
FREE JAZZ: The Virginia Museum has free admission to it’s Jazz Cafe program every Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Upcoming performances include the Mary Lawrence Hicks and the No Land Band (3/29), the Russell Wilson Trio (4/5) and the Chris Vasi Trio (4/12). Jazz Cafe and general Museum admission are always free.
FREE TAX HELP: Tax time is creeping up quickly. If you’d like free help preparing your 2011 income tax return, there are trained volunteers at 13 sites across the metro area that can help you out. Click here for more information.
LOTS OF FREE STUFF: How about getting and giving stuff free? The Freecycle Network is made up of nearly five thousand groups and nearly 70-thousand members around the world who are getting and giving away stuff free. Membership is free It’s a great way to recycle, get rid of items you don’t want, and get things you do.
FREE CREDIT REPORTS: Get a free copy of your credit report from each of the three major credit bureaus. Your personal information is completely protected. This site is sponsored by Equifax,Trans-Union and Experian.
FREE ADMISSION: Enjoy free admission to The Virginia Historical Society, with access to the museum galleries and research library. The museum is at 428 North Boulevard in Richmond.
FREE KIDS MEALS: Kids eat free at McAlister’s Deli every Tuesday from 9 p.m. with the purchase of an adult entree. There are two locations in the Richmond area, Gayton Crossing and Westchester Commons in Midlothian.

FREE LONG DISTANCE: Make free, 10-minute long distance and international calls to select locations, just by listening to a short, ten-second ad first. Get your local access number to “Freephone2phone” here.
FREE STUFF: If you’re a Facebook member, a lot of restaurants are currently offering freebies, if you “like” them on Facebook. Search for your favorite and see if they have an offer. And while you’re on Facebook, stop by the CBS 6 page and “like” us too.
FREE QDOBA: Children eat free at Qdoba on Sundays with the purchase of an adult entrée.
FREE FIREHOUSE SUBS: A lot of restaurants offer birthday clubs that you have to sign up for, to get freebies on your special day. At Firehouse Subs, just show up on your birthday with I.D with your birth date, and get a free medium sub. There are several locations in the metro area.
