ON YOUR MENU: Twinkie Dessert

Twinkie Dessert

  • 1 (3.4oz) box instant vanilla pudding; prepared as directed
  • 10 Twinkies
  • 6  chocolate covered toffee bars (we used Heath bars)
  • 1  large container of whipped topping, thawed
  • Jelly Beans for decoration (if desired)
  1. Slice Twinkies in half lengthwise.
  2. Layer in bottom of 9” x 13” inch pan with the halves cream side up.
  3. Sprinkle half of the crushed Heath bars on top of Twinkies.
  4. Pour pudding over candy layer.
  5. Arrange remaining half of Twinkies on top of pudding–cream side down.
  6. Spread whipped topping over that and with remaining candy toffee.
  7. Cover and chill for two hours.
  8. Decorate with jelly beans, if desired.
  9. Cut and serve.
