OMAHA, Neb. (WTVR) - Virginia is for Bracket Busters. One day after 12-seed VCU upset 5-seed Wichita State in the NCAA tournament, 15-seed Norfolk State made history by defeating 2-seed Missouri in the 2012 NCAA tournament by a score of 86-84.

The Spartans advance to face Florida in the round of 32

Florida advanced earlier on Friday with a win over the University of Virginia.

It is rare for a 15 seed to defeat a 2 seed in the NCAA tournament.

ESPN.com reported the last time it happened was 2001, when Hampton, also in Virginia, defeated Iowa State. [Click here]

The first time it happened was in 1991 when the University of Richmond defeated Syracuse.
