Bill Schwartz and Theta Delta Chi again boast Ram Pride in NYC.

RICHMOND, VA (WTVR) – Those black and gold Big Dance tour buses have returned to the Big Apple this year.

Last year many folks across Virginia and the nation showed their support for Virginia Commonwealth University’s remarkable Road to the Final Four.

People decorated their homes, cars and offices with Rams gear to show the team love.

VCU alumni Bill Schwartz, who owns a tour bus business called Vector Media, made a major show of support last year in New York by wrapping buses in black and gold.

This year the buses are back, posted Matt Morton.

The same black and gold is a brilliant boast that fits right in with the New York City bustling landscape.

The phrase “Remember Us?” has been added; a punctuated reminder of the VCU Rams exciting bid last year. Many are beginning to note, though, the VCU Rams have been building a strong team over the past decade.

Last year Schwartz said that when the Rams beat the Purdue Boilermakers, he and about seven of his Theta Delta Chi fraternity brothers decided to deck out several buses in black and gold.

Schwartz said most New Yorkers are supportive of the buses – and that the alumni even took one to a Yankees game last year.
