HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR)- An early morning fire Tuesday at a condominium  in eastern Henrico County temporarily displaced one woman.

The Henrico County Fire Department responded to the Wynfield Condominiums in the 300 block of Leatherhead Court, shortly before 3 a.m.

According to crews on scene, the fire started in the wall of a unit and moved up into the attic. Firefighters marked the fire under control at 3:26 a.m.

The woman who lived in the condo told firefighters she awoke to the smell of smoke, and when she opened the door to the back bedroom, she found the room in a dense haze. The woman also told officials the smoke detector inside the unit was not working.

No injuries were reported. Fire officials said the woman has made arrangements to stay with friends until repairs can be made.

The Fire Marshal has determined that the fire was accidental.
