Did you know that cancer patients can donate their tissue to a bank where it will be used in research?

This is one of the ways that scientists can improve treatments and ultimately, hopefully discover a cure for cancer. Many people are not aware the tissue bank exists.

Our guest, Dr. David Williams from the Massey Cancer Center’s tissue bank, explains what the tissue bank is, how it’s used in cancer research, and give examples of research that depends on tissue samples.
