Chesterfield Police investigate shooting

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR) – Police in Chesterfield are investigating an early Monday morning shooting.

In a press release, police indicate that just after midnight one man was shot in the leg at a home on the 11000 block of Reedy Branch Road. He was taken to VCU Medical Center where as of this morning was in surgery for his injury.

Police are asking anyone with information about what happened to call the Chesterfield County Police Department at (804) 748-1251, or Crime Solvers at 748-0660. Anyone can also send a tip via text – just send the code tip699 to 274637 (CRIMES).
