OHIO (CNN)--On Saturday in Ohio, preparing for Super Tuesday, Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney explained his views on public-funded programming.

"I will ask you to sacrifice by agreeing not to be too upset when I cut out some programs so for instance, like PBS, I like PBS. I like Big Bird and and Bert and Ernie for my grandkids to watch but I don't think we should be borrowing money so that our kids don't have to watch Kellogg's Advertisement," said Romney.

"Big Bird is going to have to have to see some Corn Flakes from time to time under my administration," added Romney.
