DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Shots were fired at a Virginia State Police tactical team during an early morning standoff, Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Thomas Molnar confirmed to CBS 6. No one was injured in the shooting.

State Police ended the standoff around 5:00 a.m. Friday when troopers entered the Dinwiddie County home and arrested James E. Taylor.

Molnar said around midnight a sergeant with the Dinwiddie  County Sheriff’s Office was called to the home on Boydton Plank Road for a “domestic situation.”
