Courthouse evacuated following bomb threat

PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR) – A bomb threat has forced the evacuation of the Petersburg Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, according to Petersburg Police spokeswoman Esther Hyatt. Hyatt said the magistrate office’s was also evacuated.

The courthouse is located at 27 Tabb Street.

Janey Brooks posted on the CBS 6 Facebook wall that police turned people away at the courthouse and told them to call about their case. [Click here]
