RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A Chesterfield man pled guilty to a child porn charge in U.S. District Court Thursday, according to a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office.

As part of a plea deal, Victor Bernard Mandeville, 43, will face 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in April.

Mandeville would also have to register as a sex offender.

Police arrested Mandeville after an undercover investigation into online child pornography trading, according to the press release.

Agents searched Mandeville’s home and seized his computers where they found “thousands of images and hundreds of videos containing child pornography.”

During a police interview, Mandeville admitted to searching for and downloading child pornography from the Internet.

He also said he communicated with a girl in the Philippines over the Internet and had her do sex acts for him via webcam.
