NEW KENT, Va. (WTVR) – A 50-year-old man accused of stalking and threatening judges and a magistrate was arraigned Wednesday in New Kent County.

Law enforcement arrested Vincent D. Rera, of the 8800 block of Old River Road in New Kent, last week.

Rera was arraigned on two felony counts of making threats of death or bodily injury to a person and one misdemeanor count of stalking, according to The Daily Press.

Virginia State Police said the arrest came after complaints from the Department of Judicial Services of the Supreme Court of Virginia.

According to officials, Rera allegedly stalked and threatened to kill or harm judges and a magistrate in New Kent County between December 2011 and January 2012.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 21.
