Police need help to solve Midlothian McDonald’s robbery

RICHMOND, VA (WTVR) – Police in Richmond, Virginia released pictures of a man they say robbed a South Richmond McDonald’s.

In an email to the media, Richmond Police spokeswoman Dionne Waugh wrote police needed help identifying the suspect.

According to the police press release, on the morning of Monday, December 19, 2011, the man robbed the McDonald’s at 6808 Midlothian Turnpike. Police said the man flashed a gun during the robbery.

Police described the suspect as a medium-built black male, around six-feet tall and between the ages of 24 and 30.

Police asked anyone with information about the suspect or the crime to call Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.

Earlier this month police released video of a man, carrying a gun and pink backpack while robbing a McDonald’s in Hopewell, Virginia. Police have not said whether the two crimes are connected.
