Albemarle deputy arrested for rape

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA (WTVR) – An Albemarle officer has been arrested and charged with rape.

Sean Horn, a Reserve Deputy with the Albemarle County Sheriff’s office is being held at Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail.

Horn formerly served as a law enforcement officer with the University of Virginia Police and also with the Albemarle County Police Department.

Sergeant Darrell R. Byers said that police conducted a thorough investigation of Horn after a rape was reported.

Horn’s bond hearing is set for Friday, Jan. 6th at the Albemarle County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
