Teen tire slashing suspects arrested, $30,000 worth of damage done

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WTVR) - Police arrested five teenagers in connection with a series of tire slashings that resulted in $32,500 worth of damage, according to police in Chesterfield County.

The 39 tire slashing victims lived in the Stoney Glen, Ashley Forest and Chesterfield Village Green neighborhoods. All the slashing occurred in the month of November. [Click here to see a report on the tire slashings]

According to a Chesterfield Police news release:

Danny Bucy, 19, faces 27 charges including conspiracy to commit a felony, breaking and entering, grand larceny and both misdemeanor and felony vandalism.

Javon Anthony, 19, faces 14 charges including conspiracy to commit a felony and both misdemeanor and felony vandalism.

Tiffany Berry, 19, faces three charges including conspiracy to commit a felony and misdemeanor vandalism

Two other teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were also charged in connection with these crimes.

Police said Bucy and the 17-year-old male were also charged with a November 14 home break-in on Mistwood Forest Drive.

Additionally, two of the teens are facing charges after 25 tires were slashed near Maple Grove Avenue and Farris Avenue on Nov. 9.

Colonial Heights police charged Bucy with four counts of destruction of property. Anthony was charged with 17 counts of destruction of prorerty.
